Empowering Future Leaders: ASLI's Insights at Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar
Our thanks to the Financial Frontiers Club, Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar for inviting ASLI to share insights on finance policy. The session highlighted the role of public policy in shaping the national budget, with an emphasis on the dichotomy between operational and development expenditure. We explored the mechanisms through which governments fund growth, specifically how funds are raised for the development of the education sector.
Our discussion extended to the pillars of integrity, the anticipation of future financial challenges, and the broad spectrum of careers in the finance sector, from traditional to non-conventional paths. For the conclusion, ASLI reminded the students to align themselves with the philosophy of: Purpose, People, and Planet, encouraging students to reflect on their potential contributions to society.
The Financial Frontiers Club consists of A-Level students at KTJ, many of whom aspire to further their studies in finance or economics. ASLI is committed to nurturing these young, aspiring leaders on their educational journey, aligned with our mission of empowering leaders, advancing societies.
