Building the ‘Trust Architecture’ in a Fragmented World
ASLI was honoured to participate in the 19th Stratagem-NTU Sino-Singapore Dialogue, hosted by the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration, Nanyang Technological University, in partnership with Stratagem Group Pte Ltd.
As one of the key regional policy dialogues examining Asia’s financial future, the forum brought together policymakers, parliamentarians, financial industry leaders, and academics to tackle one of the most pressing questions of our time: how to rewire financial connectivity in an increasingly fragmented world.
ASLI CEO Danial Rahman joined a distinguished panel — alongside Ms Tin Pei Ling, Member of Parliament, Republic of Singapore; Dr Zhou Jiannan, Head of Mainland China Development, HKEX; and Prof Liu Ying, Research Fellow, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China — to examine the future of Asian financial architecture.
He contributed ASLI’s perspective on innovation, resilience, and Asia’s global responsibility in reshaping financial connectivity — addressing critical themes such as regulatory harmonisation, the role of financial hubs and corridors in productive capital allocation, and how trust between institutions must be rebuilt from the ground up if regional integration is to deliver lasting impact.
We thank NTU’s Nanyang Centre for Public Administration and Stratagem Group for convening this timely and vital conversation.
