ASLI’s Centre for Public Policy Studies (CPPS) engages in public policy analysis, policy advocacy and roundtable discussions. CPPS carries out research studies on nation-building and sustainable development contributing to important public debates on ethnic relations; good governance and corruption; poverty and income inequalities; education and human capital development; national competitiveness as well as sustainable development. CPPS programmes are aimed at building a fair, just, multi-racial and multi-religious society. CPPS was also instrumental in launching the Merdeka Statement, and has passionately promoted general principles of nation building and the campaign against extremism.
