ASLI’s International Trade and Business Advisory Centre (ITBAC) has a strong network of partners and associates and is committed to delivering quality in business advisory and services. The Centre undertakes the facilitation of market analyses & growth strategies, connecting strategic partners across APAC and to identify their highest-value opportunities in ASEAN and Asia Pacific region. The team facilitates and designes a bespoke package of support services aligned to the explicit commercialisation needs as well as advising the companies on viability and competitiveness of their product/service entering the ASEAN market. The ITBAC team provided the International Trade Support Services to a well-established portfolio of 45 SMEs from the South West of UK from security, defence, aviation to consumer products. Similarly, for the Kingdom of Bahrain and Hong Kong, ITBAC represented the respective governments in ASEAN promoting the countries as an ideal business location and facilitated the foreign inward direct investment into their respective countries


Under the EU-European Regional Development Fund granted to GWE Business West, a key component of the Export for Growth project titled Extend your Global Reach which is focused on supporting selected SME’s to enter South East Asia and ASLI is contracted to provide international trade advisory services in seven (7) countries across South East Asia, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar.




Promoting Bahrain in Singapore and Malaysia as a business location focusing in 4 sectors in a) Tourism; b) Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics; c) Financial Services; d) Information, Communications and Technology, and to strengthen the EDB’s effort in attracting inward direct investment in those countries.
